COVID-19 Precautions

  1. No more than 1 adult per wrestler attend the event and no additional siblings or family/friends.
  2. Temperature checks at weigh ins & masks are mandatory for all
  3. 1 coach to a corner
  4. All those on the wrestling floor must wear face masks while not coaching or wrestling and we encourage social distancing for all on the floor or in the stands
  5. Mats will be cleaned often and hand sanitizer will be available throughout the venue. We do encourage everyone to bring their own hand sanitizer as well
  6. If you have been exposed to COVID-19 within 14 days prior to the event you should not attend or if you have any signs or symptoms of COVID-19

Schedule of Events

The schedule below is subject to change once we get final numbers. The days that each division is listed to wrestle will not change but the times on each day may change slightly.

Final schedule will be released no later than Tuesday night (December 1st) at 10pm

Thursday, December 3, 2020

*weigh ins should be done in a competition singlet or competition fight shorts and rash guard

  • 5:00pm: Weigh ins for HS Open
  • 5:30pm: Weigh ins for HS Girls
  • 6:00pm: Weigh ins for 7th-8th grade & JH Girls
  • 6:15pm: Weigh ins for all divisions (the divisions that wrestle on Saturday can weigh in at this time as well as any division that wrestles on Friday)

Friday, December 4, 2020

  • 9:00am: Weigh ins for those that didn't weigh in on Thursday but wrestle on Friday
  • 11:00am-3:30pm: HS Open and HS Girls wrestle
  • 4:30pm-8:00pm: 7th-8th grade & JH Girls wrestle
  • 6:30pm: weigh ins for all that still need to weigh in for Saturday

Saturday, December 5, 2020

  • 9:00am-12:00pm: Prek-k / 3rd-4th grade & Girls Elementary wrestles
  • 1:00pm-4:30pm: 1st-2nd grade & 5th-6th grade wrestles
  • 5:30pm-8:00pm: 9th-10th grade division wrestles

The hwt weight class in each division will be split if weights are too far apart

Weigh ins

See schedule for all weigh in times. No weight allowance for any divisions

Table help

We are looking for table help each day. The pay is $100 per table and 1 person is required per table. If you are interested in running tables please reach out to Jeff Newby via email at Jeffreynewby@hotmail.com.

Headgear

Headgear is required for all 8th grade wrestlers and younger. 

Awards

Nike Wrestling shoes to the 1st place wrestler and singlet to the runner up and madals to the top 6 place winners

Double Bracketing

You may double bracket but can not double bracket within the same session. For example can wrestle in the 1st-2nd grade division and 3rd-4th grade division but can not wrestle in two weight classes within the same division.

Admissions

It is a $10 admission fee into the event each day. Six and under are free. The entry fee money is used to pay for the extra workers due to COVID-19.

Tournament Entry Fee

$45 entry fee, no onsite registration. Entry fee will increase to $50 on November 20th so register early!

Coaches Bands

All Coaches that want to coach on the mat must have a USA Coaches Card (Wrestling Leader Membership) to get a coaches band and be on the floor.
